Fidiora charges $0.69 per genuine resolution, dropping to $0.45 for every resolution above 1,000 a month. A resolution means a customer got a correct, complete answer or had their task completed, and the conversation closed without a human. There are no seat fees. Handoffs to humans are always free, abandoned chats and silent timeouts are never billed, and a monthly spend cap means the bill cannot exceed your ceiling.
What you pay
Fidiora has two published rates, applied automatically by volume: $0.69 per genuine resolution for the first 1,000 resolutions each calendar month, and $0.45 for every resolution above 1,000 in the same month. It works like a tax bracket: only the resolutions past 1,000 get the lower rate, so the bill never jumps, and there is no contract or plan switch. There are no seat fees, so you can add your whole team at no extra cost. There are no setup or onboarding fees, no add-on modules, no separate AI pricing, and no channel surcharges. The pipeline, rule engine, lead capture, analytics, and spend caps are all included. Enterprise pricing is custom; see the pricing page.
What counts as a resolution
A resolution is when Fidiora answers a customer's question and their issue is actually closed, without a human needing to step in. In practice:
- The customer asked a question and Fidiora gave a correct, complete answer.
- The customer's task was completed in the chat, such as an eligible refund processed or a setting changed.
- The conversation closed without ever needing a human agent.
What never counts (you pay $0)
- A chat the customer abandoned, or that timed out in silence.
- Any conversation handed off to a human. Handoffs are always free.
- An assumed resolution, where there is no way to tell the customer was helped.
- A follow-up to a question already resolved in the same thread.
- A partial or "sort of" answer.
- An answer the customer tells Fidiora did not help.
Edge cases
A thread with several questions counts as a single resolution. When in doubt, it does not count. The definition is written in your favor on purpose: Fidiora only earns when your customer is genuinely helped, so there is no incentive to keep customers away from your team. Read the full definition on how we define a resolution, and the reasoning in what counts as a resolution.
Set a monthly spend cap
-
Estimate your volume
Use the estimator on the pricing page: monthly conversations multiplied by your expected resolution rate gives resolutions; the first 1,000 cost $0.69 each and the rest $0.45 each. Start with a conservative rate, since resolution climbs as your docs improve.
-
Choose a ceiling
In the Fidiora portal, set a monthly spend cap a little above your estimate. The bill can never exceed it.
-
Decide what happens near the cap
As you approach the cap, Fidiora can notify you or route everything to your team. Notify suits teams that would rather raise the cap mid-month. Routing to the team suits a fixed budget.
-
Review monthly
Compare actual resolutions to your estimate each month and adjust the cap as volume and resolution rate change.
Reading your bill
Your bill is the first 1,000 resolutions at $0.69 plus every resolution above 1,000 at $0.45, up to your cap. For example, 5,000 monthly conversations at a 65% resolution rate is 3,250 resolutions: $690 for the first 1,000 plus $1,012.50 for the other 2,250, or $1,702.50 in total, about $0.52 per resolution. Handoffs and abandoned chats in that month cost nothing. If a bill seems higher than expected, check the number of resolutions against the conversations you reviewed, confirm the spend cap setting, and see Troubleshooting. For more on the model, see per-resolution pricing and the cost per resolution model.
